Adiabatic Cooling and Humidification System

The adiabatic supply air humidification system is first choice for environmentally-friendly humidification and cooling. An extremely fine spray, which has been generated under high pressure, guarantees efficient and economical humidification. A minimum energy requirement and low running costs ensure that the WinCool solution remains an efficient and cost-effective choice in the short and long term.

Areas of Application

WinCool humidification systems can be used for a variety of different applications. Their hygienic and reliable operation means they qualify for use in cleanrooms, production halls, warehouses, offices and hospitals.

Thanks to the use of innovative technology, our highly efficient humidifiers are extremely energy efficient. The adiabatic humidification system boasts an energy consumption of only 4 watts per 1 kg / h.

The adiabatic supply air humidifiers are ideal for use in sensitive environments or hospitals. In order to be able to reliably fulfil the strict humidity requirements there, our systems display a control accuracy +/- 1 % RH.

The system’s modular design allows it to fit into any duct system regardless of its diameter. Because we use lightweight components there is no need for the duct system to be structurally strengthened.

WinCool does not use biocides in any of our systems. This means that we can ensure clean humidification without any risk to health. This practice of not using chemical substances allows humidification to be carried out with no worries.

WinCool systems are certified in accordance with the European hygiene norm DIN EN 13779, the German norms VDI 6022, 3808 and DIN 1946 and the Austrian ÖNORM H6021 as well as the Swiss SWKI 104-01 and SWKI 99-3.

The System

The principle of adiabatic supply air humidifiers is based on the creation of very fine spray from water by means of our specially-designed high-pressure nozzles. These spray fully desalinated water so that it becomes a fine mist that is absorbed very quickly by the ambient air. A built-in filter protects against contamination. Together with the turbulators the special nozzles form the core of each system.

The trailblazing WinCool turbulators divide the air current in the duct. In doing so they create parallel turbulence and shear zones. The fine mist is distributed homogeneously and evaporates very quickly. This optimal mixture ensures that the system achieves a long-lasting high degree of efficiency.

In many fields and areas, humidification is primarily necessary in the winter months, which means that conventional humidifiers stand still during the summer. This, however, is not the case with the adiabatic combo system from WinCool. In summer, the systems can be used as a fully functioning cooling unit without the need for any changes or modifications. The functioning principle of exhaust air cooling saves up to 1/3 of energy costs compared to conventional units.
